The tears of happiness feeling may be a mood swing thing. An up and down feeling that is common when you start taking medication for depression. It probably means it's starting to work. That's me speaking from experience of witnessing it from the outside.

I watch films on my tv or laptop . Nearest cinema is either Manchester or Rochdale .
Was 3 cinemas in Oldham years ago Odean , ABC and Empire all shut down .
Used to take DS cinema in Hollinwood but that's now shut
Riches indeed. I think there was an odeon here about 20 years ago and then there was a Reel. They then shut this and opened an entertainment park - this took 2 decades to be built - bingo, Pizza Hut, bowling alley, reel - closed the other one.
So kids still need to go to Stoke to Odeon or Newcastle vue about a 30 mile round trip or C. Oaks vue 30 miles in the other direction for a big night out.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. No, I do what you shouldn't - anti-depressants tablets are normally longer-term. I just take one now if I just feel a bit down. So the feeling of up and down wasn't anything to do with starting medication. I felt a bit down - and just had a tablet to deal with it.
I was on these anti-depressants, and on beta-blockers, for some time. I've gradually stopped (supported by GP's advice) - went down to a very low dose and then only had them if I needed them. As I said, I haven't needed any for months but just had one tablet - will cause no harm - hopefully to lift my mood tonight! If I felt anxiety, maybe one of the betablockers would have come out. I felt depressed, so one of the anti-depressants will do.
Don't try at home folks!0
