Home Bargains this morning in the snazzy savers section I found both versions of the Green and Blacks packs of 12 mini bars for £1.49 - short dated with Augusts expiries

    - remember the ones we got or failed to get in the great Christmas choc glitch of 2012??

    normal price of £5.50

  • Just to let everyone know - I nipped to Sada this morning to get a couple more of the 24 packs of water to add to my water Jenga tower in the garage - however when it scans now an error message appears asking for the SA to manually add price - so no more water for 80p for 24 bottles! Never mind, I have a garage full so can't complain - thanks for the text Claire1972 x

They also have 6 or 8 of the individual mini bars of green and blacks for 50p if anyone likes it x

Evening all! I will confess to not understanding this voucher talk :o

I've been looking at house sitting websites today. I fancy getting away from it all at some point and it seems like a relatively inexpensive way to see the world. Plus hang out with some cool pets. Anyone ever tried it before?

Bristol can kinda be near the sea

re Travelodge's within easy drives of Alton Towers if go slightly further out - ie if you want a few days away to include other things as well as Alton Towers then put into the search box

    Crewe Travelodge

that will give you the prices for Crewe, Barthomley (this is literally just off junction 16 of the motorway, Stoke Talke and also Stafford. Twoards the end of August they all have rooms costing £35 or there abouts - none of the red saver rooms but £30 something is a good enough price.

Barthomley is just off the motorway and Talke is only about 5 mins up the D road - I think B has petrol and it used to have a Little Chef like eatery place as did Talke. Stafford as well is close to a motorway junction.

The Crewe one is about 10 mins off the motorway but its in a small park by itself with a Co-op, Cantonese restaurant, subway for breakfasts and a pub that probably does family meals. If you are doing a 2 or 3 day break this one is probably the most useful. The business park about 5 mins away has a gorgeous wild life park which is great for evening walks
thanks mhoc :T which crewe one has the cantonese restaurant? that one sounds good if lots of places nearby to eat :)
