:hello:
Was going to post a link to a YT song here - nice summer afternoon (here anyway), but can only find remixes on there not the original which is the one I wanted. So you'll all just have to pretend and hum it instead - you know the one, UK Top 40 hit so you therefore know it:D - Heliotropic featuring Verna V "Alive":rotfl::rotfl:, obvious choice!:rotfl:0 -
Ive found this in the past. If I arrange for a c&c order for collection in the morning, I seem to be waiting forever for an APG. But I collected one at 7pm last night and the APG was already on my account by the time I got home. I think it just depends on when the person giving you your order presses the right button or something like that. Guessing I was the last person yesterday for C&C and the poor bloke wanted to get home so he pressed the right button sooner rather than later :rotfl:northerngeezer wrote: »Hi,
I picked up a C&C order this morning just after 10 a.m. but the APG is still not showing. In the past the results were there within a couple of hours.
Also in my orders the order status is not showing as "collected" but as "your order is on its way"
Is this normal ?
Any advice appreciated
Mind you. I could have got all the above completely wrong. Im sure I will be corrected if so

Afternoon

Nice day here but definitely no heatwave thinking about putting a fleece on. The wild raspberries are now ready for picking

Well, some people say you do but in my experience it has never happened and I have altered several orders
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Oh look... the Copella 1.25litre Apple Juice remains at £1.35 in the second M store:mad:, with the offer on until 17th August.
The Birds Eye 'Select' Mixed Vegetables and the Sweetcorn continue at £1. It's the Vegetable Mix steamer packs that are going onto 2 for £3:(, along with another 4 pack Steamer.
The Surf washing powders though are £2.65. They're also £2.65 in a third store:o:o, so it's store-specific. Only if you find them at £1.99, which is lower than 10p/wash whereas £2.65 isn't.
The Baylis & Harding that I have was on RTC. However, it's not store-specific as it is found in the second store (and third) and Lavender version also found there. It's not the handwash though - so apologies for that - but the Shower Creme instead.
This:
Baylis & Harding Mosaic Wild Rose & Raspberry Leaf Shower Creme(500ml)£1.48
Baylis & Harding Lavender Shower Creme(500ml)£1.48
Probably too high a price for most Eliters come to think of it.
But Sweet Mandarin & Grapefruit Bath Foam (500ml) is £1.00 (one store only).
I can't see any of these in A on msm, but my msm is pretty useless as regards B&Hs.
They are some 4 pack Pork Chops, variable weight, on £4/kg - which I appreciate is quite high - non-comparable from any I can see in A.
Also - now is the time to be supporting the England football team!:D I found some England stuff on RTC in one store - so you may or may not find any - don't make special journey and not what you'd expect (there were no shirts or anything and not really much 'flags' but just some 'bits').
I ought to put the SP (Frozen) Sausage Rolls back onto the list - they've been there for months - as they probably go vs M although T is back at 88p now. 88p M. Occasionally the standard range (i.e. CBY) have been known to go on better offer at a competitor and work out better priced than SP, although not at the moment.
I think 8 pack Kiwi Fruit (8 for 6) is on 99p bogo'f' in M (no equivalent in A).
Finally, if I may bear, with me while I meddle with the Tvs M part of the list and add an additional item (may or may not work).0 -
I only did I quick check through the second store, as I thought do I just want to be walking through M stores all day?
The Mum and Me Arnica Bath Soak is store specific. It is not available in the second store (which is the largest of the three). I found it in the third store (the smallest) - but there it's price is £1.48.
Oh yes, and Alysia Strawberry Trifle (461g) on £1 in M.:)
That's it - you're up to date. (I think.)0 -
I think Bernard Matthews 7-pack Turkey Burgers have seen a weight reduction from 480g to 420g?
(Or maybe not - perhaps I'm getting mixed up!)0 -
purpledonkey wrote: »:rotfl: did you post this before? I seem to remember shouting '!!!!!!' whilst laughing as I'd just bought 4 packs at £1.49.
To be honest I don't buy any other colour than black as it's easier just to buy white packs and dye them with gel and I still have one left to use for my next cake. Thanks though :A
We colour fondant for characters/modelling but i use colour packs for covering cakes. Any time we colour large pieces i don 't find the colour as sharp and the fondant seems more prone to crackingApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
