    Another glorious day.

I know that people were saying a sada v !!!!!! bickie shop was OK yesterday but did anyone do a

    sada v sainsbobs.

Ive got to get chips and Copella is on the Shopotize cashback page this week so I thought I would combine this with a bickie shop or the magic three - impulse and 2 hair things - if that is still working???

Or is it hump day and all comparison shops are a bit dodgy.

I am not supposed to be here, I am sure my lift has forgotten me ...:D

I think it's crazy we've got a economy where everybody's work has been concentrated onto so few people's shoulders that we're reluctant to stay away from work if we have a contagious bug (or we get looked down on).

Instead we're encouraged to come in, struggle at working below our best standard, and spread infection. The financial tail is wagging the health dog here.

It is crazy but it's in the culture as much as it is the economy. For as long as there are people dragging themselves into work in sorry states of low performance and infectiousness uneccessarily, there will always be the rest of people who feel like they have to follow suit (not that I'm one of these people - I have no problem staying off sick :rotfl:)

Right I am now about to erupt. My lift is not coming.

Even though I am barely talking to OH he has annoyed me so much and its too hot to be livid with someone
I was still taking him out to lunch

So I've stripped the bed, done 2 wash loads, showered, made up, got dressed and not in my gardening clothes, got my various bags sorted out and all for nothing  He has just rung to say something has come up and the best he can do is one so its not happening and the best he can do is tomorrow

the ideal situation would be for a miracle to happen right now and youngest son to roll up now - he keeps promising, like father like son.

OH well - might as well put the gardening clothes back on and get on with sorting the Freecycles out and the car insurance

I used to feel really guilty about having time off sick, then I realised "they" don't appreciate you any more.

Totally, totally agree. I always take time off if I'm unwell. And I get looks for it. But I don't care. There is this culture of prioritising work before yourself that is just utter !!!!!!!!.

I have been getting huffy as there are never any surprises for me. :(

I am the one who does the organising, it would be nice for someone else to sometimes. Don't get me wrong Mr TS will do more than his fair share with the catering but I have to plan everything in the first place. I am the one who has booked a luxury night in a hotel couple weeks time, if I didn't do it he would never think to. :o

Exactly - I do enjoy shuffling between websites and looking for the best deals and weighing up the various elements and the entire organising of days outs and events and holidays etc but it is only ever me that does it.

If say I have made a list of supermarkets and lists I need to tackle, OH will say oh not more shops yet again. I say well what do you want to do and he cant give me an answer ever. So its always me that decides where we go and what we do.
