It was the only thing that kept me sane when I had an abscess that wouldn't respond to anti-b's. It's amazing stuff. I licked my finger after applying it and couldn't feel my tongue for ages, :rotfl: but seriously it's a world away from bonjela and the like.

Oh my! that's a blast from the past :D :rotfl::rotfl:

Also found in that folder a pic of DS1 aged 4 and one of DS2 at a few weeks old that I'd long forgotten about. FAB! :D

Isn't that always the way. I just found some floppy discs (ssssh Dotty), containing the Monkey Island games 1, 2 + 3. I really want to play them now :)

Sainsbobs appear to be slowly learning that I don't appear to want to spend much at all in their stores (and preferably nothing at all or be paid to take away:D). I've just had to shop there for some potatoes (someone will now tell me of a better offer that I know nothing about:o:o) as not shopping in A as Mr T hasn't got any on any good offer.

S did not give me a stream of coupons for not shopping there in the last several weeks:(. Instead, just one - £2.25 off £15 spend. (What an odd amount off. Presumably off a £15 shop that is £10 cheaper elsewhere - now, how do I manage that?)

Equates to £3 off £20 so, no, I'm not shopping there again at all as wanted at least equivalent £4 off £20.

I had a 'similar' thing with Halifax - my bank account (which pays no interest just a fixed amount per month if qualifying criteria are met) sometimes offers cashback for spending at specific places on the debit card. My account recently told me "you have no cashback offers" and suggested I could get more by spending on my card. I refrained from doing so. (Not spending any money I wasn't needing to or going to spend.:money:)

Well, after a few months, I've still not spent at any of the retailers at all - or, indeed, used the card (I've kept the account ticking over with an about 1p balance nearly constantly (the money is elsewhere, earning interest:))). And, yet, I've now still got a new cashback offer come up. So - it wasn't necessary to spend anything at all!:D I may take up the cashback offer - but not doing so if I would be spending what I wasn't going to already.

You tell them all savvy. You're in fine form tonight:rotfl:

Oh yeah, and when you take the tube out the box, there's a wee lid you unscrew before the tube you have to cut the end off. Don't do what I did in my lack-of-sleep-and-pain-induced-stupidity and cut the end off the lid. :o:rotfl:

I do hope it gives you some respite BB.
