Extraordinarily Loyal Is The Elite

I could never understand why we went through so much foil as its now only OH who makes sandwiches and sometimes for lining the grill.
Then I caught him wrapping the other day and the sandwiches have so much foil its 4 layers thick :mad:
:rotfl:
But does he wrap shiny in or shiny out?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
It sort of makes it easier and also make sit more difficult. Would he like a day out somewhere special or is he more at ease at home?
A day out is fine as long as he knows about it well in advance. Also what time we're leaving, how long we will be there, what time we'll get home and god forbid anything like a traffic jam gets in the way
If it's a place we've never been to we also have to endure 'are you sure we aren't lost' for the whole journey:rotfl:
It's all part of the fun :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Tin foil.....shiny side in or shiny side out?

good morning all hope the elite are well,
some people say shiny in as it holds the heat into what ever your cooking better and if its shiny out it reflects the heat away, I have a freind who works in manufacturing who says it makes no difference to cooking it is just to do with the manufacturing process that one side comes into contact with a roller that polishes it and makes it shine,,0 -

I always put it shiny side out as this is the bit exposed to the germs when in the box. Unless it one of those weird packs where the shiny side is on the inside.

Fabulous
I love watching, from safe distance, a very choppy sea with the waves crashing We had a house in Saltcoats for a wee while and that area always made the news when the weather was bad
Hope the toothache get resolved0 -
Ive got 3 boys in their mid twenties to buy for at Christmas plus birthdays in December, February and March so that's 6 lots  I am actively thinking of Christmas now because its so difficult - the criteria is something quirky, unusual they would not buy for themselves, something that could be wrapped.
Eldest son is going to be working away for Christmas - his 4th Christmas in a row - as he says it just makes sense for the ones with families to have the time off. His birthday is just before Christmas which make it even harder. So his gifts need to be durable enough to survive the postal system
Youngest son will probably be home. He works in outdoor sports so you think it would be massively easy to buy for him but the equipment he needs is very specialised
Then there is eldest childs BF who is all designer labels and £200 shirts so I am completely lost - so I need to look for something designer without the price tag“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0
