Quite inadvertently, I have failed to share my good news tonight :o

I was offered a job today, quite out of the blue. It can be done completely at home, at times to suit me and it's part time with a very good hourly rate. How good is that? :D
Im here anyway, I might as well earn money whilst I am. It will bring £100+ in a week through the school hols and if it's manageable, I might keep it up afterwards. it made me very happy :D

    well done

That's sounds like an ideal job, would love that myself, well done. X

I'm off to bed night and thanks for all your posts x

I spoke to my OH earlier. the job is with the charity he's involved with. He didn't tell them what I do for a living, he didn't tell them I was doing a PhD at uni??

.......he says he was embarrassed to tell them I was doing so well whilst he isn't :(. They have offered me £12 an hour and he really wants me to do it, so I am going to. The work I have done yesterday and today earns me £450 a day no matter how many hours I work :o

To be fair, I can't earn that in the holidays. So anything I can earn is a bonus! I'm having some major building work done in the holidays so it will help

Well, after my last disastrous Morrisons comparison, where I expected over £5 back but I was deemed to have failed to buy enough items - yes, I bought two packs of 690g Birds Eye at horrific £1.50 each:eek:, yes I paid £2.85 for 2L Domestos:o:o, I'm pleased to be able to say I've got roughly the amount back over just two days of wombles.

Thanks to a couple of this beauty of an item (that's a beauty as in 'for our wombles', not necessarily one for us to buy;)):

    Southern Comfort (350ml)

    T [Strike]£12.00[/Strike] £10.00
    M £10.99
    A £11.00
    S £12.00
    W N/A

They bought lots of different 190g pouches with it, £1 each, which I thought might lose all - or nearly all - of that £4 amount. Fortunately all but one of them turned out to be £1 in T:T.

And will that make me add a flump or 10p Haribo to my shopping next time? Nah, probably not:wall::(:rotfl::rotfl:.

Couldn't be timed more appropriately to my refusal to put Tangfastics onto my shopping:rotfl::T.
