What a lovely hot day it has been here, not that I have been in it at all, been sooo busy, not been able to even catch up on here today
DS2 had his prom tonight, they all dressed up lovely, had a red carpet to walk down and all the boys asked a girl to be a date and walked in with them, was so cute.
Have our last day at school tomorrow, tissues at the ready, as we have a church service to attend and year 6 are performing a very tearful farewell.
Hope everyone is ok and I have not missed any glitches today.
I know we all moan about the cost of proms but the kids do have a fab timeand it is quite a big step, it's nice to mark it. I think luckily I have escaped primary school proms! The secondary school ones are enough!
You will need tissues tomorrow. My mascara was wrecked when DS2 finished primary school.
.....incidentally, he came home cool as you like with a fistful of teachers merit certificates today6 in total. I thought that they all must have been given them but I found out tonight that one other kid got 8, then DS2 got 6.....and so on. He just threw them on the sofa

I have the £2.64 A Cling Film on a womble and...
:drumroll:
No luck - returning N/A but keep watching.
Btw, my price on Cling Film is about a pound, hence why £2.64 is completely out of the question! Do people generally know what a good deal is? Hence why, I guess, I have different price expectations:). We here on the Elite are in a different world to most people:D:j. Completely different ideas as to what is good. I guess I need not add it, but I will: avoid the Cling Film.0 -

Its awful
It makes my blood run cold. You would have been a young teenager? I was a bit older but I still remember the effect of seeing what happened at Lockerbie. I honestly think it was the most awful thing I'd ever seen at that point in my life. Days and days of truly awful pictures in the papers
It's different now, news is almost instant.....speculation is almost non-existent. Don't know what's worse to be honest0 -

We have been lucky with this prom its not cost us a penny, the school have laid on all the food, including chocolate fountain with all the fruit, all the balloons, the tables all laid out lovely, they even had a photographer and cam home with the photo at the end of the evening as a souvenir. He had a fab time.
I have plenty of tissues, this is my last child leaving primary school, was a wreck with my eldest so I know what to expect.0 -
Camilla seems to move faster/slower for different browsers/devices, but I don't think it matters.
I don't even look at the points, but if a prize falls from the sky (it's obvious if it does) make sure you catch it

Maybe I ought to suggest the above cheese.
Reduced Fat Houmous Dip (now, does it contain more fat than other 'full fat' versions?:rotfl:) is a filler vs M and also vs S.0
