Looks like it might be 40p per pack then A v M?:D
If you buy in twos!:D
I like this: I see it that we are penalising them for putting on an mbuy offer, with an inflated individual price (certainly compared to Morries current price) and getting people to buy more and pay them more. It's part of the 'supermarket game' - and this time, it's our time to get our own back!:) Here the mbuy pricing - as is so often the case on 2 for £3 frozen lollies too, that are regularly £1 elsewhere - is inflated compared to elsewhere but the individual pricing even more so. It encourages people to buy two, therefore paying in total more (albeit getting one more unit) on the suggestion that they are therefore making a "saving". Whereas just one at the competitor would have been outright cheaper (on these occasions than even their mbuy price). Most people that shop, in this case at A, would I feel not realise this and it's for us to penalise the stores for their overcharging (compared to elsewhere) and causing people then to reward them by buying more units than necessary.
Here it's entirely necessary, and justified, for us to buy two (or in twos) and play them at their own game, especially to take back some of the overcharging that they have very likely done to your regular-type customers.0 -

Well done.
Dd3 wants this for her birthday, but with the Lego movie on the outside, and Frozen and a water cake which is made from cups of water that you pour from the top and it cascades down.:eek::eek:
I think I watch too many wedding/cake shows.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl: I do that, watch Cake Boss and I think 'I can do that' when I blatantly can't. They make it look so easy.

Hi
Would this be a £3.74 ish apg? Help please. tia
I'm trying to prepare a c+c order and came across this on msm
sada ASDA Butcher's Selection Free Range Whole Chicken by Weight (1.2Kg) £5.98
compares to T's EDV Chicken at £2.48
*edit on sada web site shows 4.98
The chickens don't compare for me on MSM.
Are you looking at the baskets on the right hand side of MSM? If so, this is showing you a 'replacement' item available at Tesco, not a 'comparable' item.
I would love to be wrong here, would be nice to buy a free range chicken for £2.48 less 10%0 -
Good afternoon on this very hot humid afternoon.I was just wondering where everyone was keeping their biccies whilst this weather is so hot.I have not got this problem as have not participated in this one as much too tempting for Nannylala and do need to steer clear of these unheathly glitches for obvious reasons:eek:0

If you add the A chicken to your basket and then switch store to T the 1.2kg chicken in your basket switches to 1kg
They might compare based on the £/kg (£4.98v£2.48) or they might exclude because the unit weight on the two products shown are outwith 10%
Best you could hope for is to get an APG for about 55% of the price you pay ....but I don't think they'll compare because MSM doesn't show them as comparing at allApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Alternatively of course, people miss the mbuy even when there's one on and then end up paying more on the individual unit price than if the store had a 'half price' (rather than a multibuy (multisave:rotfl:)).0

So if it just goes into the other basket but not showing as replacement that's a goer?0 -
Right, a very slow start to the day for me, still in pjs .
Went back to doc yesterday and have been given more tablets for the cramps in my legs, have to go again tomorrow for more blood tests too grrrrrr.
Been in agony yesterday and today so spending time watching a film or two that I recorded months ago.
I did manage 5 biscuit shops so we are all sorted for quite sometime, we don't tend to eat many of the choccie bar ones.
Dh popped into town then going to morries, he won't get much as he is on foot with a backpack. I keep telling him to get a bike (memories of Mad appear with his carrier bags hanging from his handlebars and the bottles clanking as he peddled/wobbled off down the road)
Right, coffee time for me and maybe try a catchup but I seem to be pages galore behind.
Sorry to hear you are still feeling poorly and I don't think this heat helps sending you a hug and think have the right idea taking it easy an taking in a film or too to try and take your mind off things take care :A0
