If you wet it and then do lots of plaits it would dry crimped and last longer than curling.
Otherwise this is a great website for ideas with youtube tutorials. (Cute girls hairstyles) I am not an expert but have been able to do a few of their designs (not in the 3-5 minutes they take but less than 10!)

Thank you - just seen that one, problem is I need it for 2nd August, I know it says it will arrive earlier but .............What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

That's what I like about them. Lovely styles but they still look like little girls...0 -
Good morning!
I think I need the elites help
It's the school prom tonight (DD is only 11!) and we have the dress (I gave in and bought her a new one for a tenner) and the shoes (they cost me 8 quid) and now I need to figure out what to do with the hair.
DD has brown hair which is pretty thick and sits on her shoulders (it goes up in a pony tail but not a very big one)
Any suggestions on styles for it? She wants it crimped but I don't really want to do that as it'll take ages and probably not hold.
I'm not brilliant at doing hair so need something reasonably easy
Any help will be greatly appreciated
Google will give you some fab ideas, and you tube will show you how to do them
I only found out how to curl my hair with straighteners 4 months ago

Please can someone with one of the LLoyd banks with the special interest rate confirm this.
Eldest child has heard a rumour that if you have one of these accounts one of the perks is free access to airport VIP lounges - true or false?
False ! Eldest son should perhaps takes 5 seconds to look at their website

When I left my primary school we had a buffet lunch in the pe hall provided by the leavers parents and a bit of a disco... Music on the school stereo...:rotfl: we did wear party dresses but nothing over the top...
I was a bridesmaid a couple of years ago and I've saved my dress purely for this purpose, I'm sure I can do something with it for DD prom... If they've not moved onto something else by then!!
That is a genius idea, I'm sure I have my bridesmaid dress from a wedding a few years back I can get refitted for DD when she's in year 11
I like the way they call it an 'end of year prom' and then tell the parents not to worry about doing anything special for it
Like you say, it's only a primary school, mine was a disco in the hall with a bag of crisps and a can of pop :rotfl:
I don't even remember having one when I eventually left secondary schoolHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

Yum!
Well done.
Dd3 wants this for her birthday, but with the Lego movie on the outside, and Frozen and a water cake which is made from cups of water that you pour from the top and it cascades down.:eek::eek:
I think I watch too many wedding/cake shows.

I think I have a biscuit problemthey're a bit nice aren't they, those pick up ones are lovely
they are my favourite too, they look so cheap and boring in the wrappers, but they are balsen biscuits. It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
