Not sure where to start?

Hi everyone after around 12 months of viewing this forum whilst attempting to become debt free (It has been a very big help) I have reached a stage where I am 17 weeks from becoming debt and I amnow thinking about the futher future, as after everything is completely paid off I will be saving for a deposit which should only hopefully take around another 12 months!

The only thing is that during the stage where I was taking loans an cards out left right and centre mis payments and other various things meant my credit score took a battering, checked yesterday on noddle and it was still 1/5, I have done abit of reaserch which has been telling me to get a credit card and pay it off every month etc etc but the only problem is I cant get accepted for anything I try, and I also know a large number of checks on yourcredit file doesnt look good either. There must be something i can do?

So anybody with any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Many thanks YNS.

Funnily enough out of about 20 different closed balances there is only one account (Lowell) that has ever defaulted, 8 months in a row, even though I had a payment plan set up with them?

The last default was December 2013.

Current balances showing a payday loan with mini credit which has been closed and I'm just awaiting that to be updated.

Current debt situation, wonga £270 due 26th July - will be payed then and RBS overdraft £200.
Then the rest of my debt is owed to family so has no relevance to my credit score?

I can't believe you've been looking at this forum for 12 months if you believe you have a credit score. It's covered practically every day that 'credit scores' do not exist.

So you have no credit cards showing on your account at present?

Fair point and I have seen this quoted many a time, but I can't personally see my history being any good at all, therefore I would like to make it better for the future.

I currently have no credit cards on there at present.
