1. This prize draw is in two parts. Part One is open to all entrants. Part Two is open to MasterCard holders only. Entrants must be resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man and be aged 18 years or over. Employees of Telegraph Media Group Limited and MasterCard Europe sprl (trading as “MasterCard”), their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw are not eligible to enter.
b) Part two is open from 17:00 on July 11 2014 until 23:59 on July 14 2014
4. Prizes:
a) Part One: Five winners will each receive the following prize package for The Open Championship, Royal Liverpool for Sunday July 20, 2014:
• One pair of VIP MasterCard Pavilion passes;
• Complimentary food and drinks;
• One night’s accommodation and dinner in the 4-star Chester Grosvenor on Saturday, July 19, 2014;
• Transfers between the hotel and Liverpool Lime Street railway station;
• Standard class return train travel from any UK mainland rail station to Liverpool Lime Street; and
• Transport between the hotel and Royal Liverpool on Sunday, July 20, 2014.
b) Part Two: Two winners will each receive the following prize package for The Open Championship, Royal Liverpool for Friday July 18, 2014:
• One pair of VIP MasterCard Pavilion passes;
• Complimentary food and drinks;
• Behind the ropes access to the players practice area;
• Behind the scenes tour of the BBC media compound;
• Tour of the Press Centre and Press Conference facilities;
• Reserved grandstand seating on the 18th green;
• One night’s accommodation and dinner in the 4-star Chester Grosvenor on Thursday, July 16, 2014;
• Transfers between the hotel and Liverpool Lime Street railway station;
• Standard class return train travel from any UK mainland rail station to Liverpool Lime Street; and
• Transport between the hotel and Royal Liverpool on Friday, July 18, 2014.
5. All entries must be submitted via www.telegraph.co.uk/mastercard and entry is restricted to one per person. Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way.
6. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners of both Part One and Part Two will be selected by a random prize draw within 4 working days of the respective closing dates. Winners will then be notified within 4 working days of the draw date and will have 14 days to respond to winner notification. If a response is not given within 14 days, the winner will be disqualified and the prize will be reallocated to a reserve winner in the same manner.
7. In the event that a Part One winner is also a Part Two winner, the Part Two prize shall be awarded to the winner and an alternative Part One winner will be selected in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
8. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include travel, drinks or any other costs of a personal nature not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
9. The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
10. As a condition of accepting the prize, Winners shall, at the Promoter’s request, participate in reasonable promotional activity surrounding the winning of the prize, for no further consideration, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and images in promotional material which includes social media.
