Temporary Car Insurance

My son is visiting from Dubai and we wanted to put him on his dads car insurance ad a named driver for a month but it was going to cost him £250 to do it as his dad has saga insurance. When looking at comparison sites it was £350. He has a uk licence and insurance in Dubai. Any suggestions on a cheaper price would be grateful thx.
