Sorry this post is not going to be much help to you, but wanted to say that whilst I've not come across them before, I would not be too happy about having one myself. It may be me being paranoid, but I would be concerned that it would let anyone *dodgy* know my little ones name. Whilst as a very little baby it may not be a big thing, young children are very trusting and could easily go with someone who knew them by name.

its a valid response, and your right.

however, this one is for a new born and doesnt flag the issue as much as it would for a toddler.

Unfortunately I completely agree with oldMcDonald - and I don't think it matters whether or not it is for a new baby or toddler (babys become toddlers very quickly!) I wouldn't want strangers knowing my babys name. My in laws brought my then 6month, now 2 year old, son a personalised cap and he has never worn it out, the thought of ....well I'd rather not go there... something like this personalised worries me - sorry.
Please rethink... but to answer your question I haven't seen them anywhere for sale.

    Definately not a personalised one.

The idea for baby on board signs came about so in the event of an accident emergency services would know that there could be a child trapped or wandered off etc on/from the scene.

I too would not like the idea of my child's name being made known.

Used to work in Criminal Justice System with these "predators" and they will use any means to get to what they want...and a child's name is a perfect place to start. I do not have my child's name on anything that someone else can see...hats, clothes, keyrings, bags, headbands etc. If I have to name something I will just use initials. Would rather loose the item than the child IYKWIM. You will be very surprised at what these guys do and how close to your children they are...be very careful...
