Is it worth the piece of mind or should I just buy elsewhere, stick the extra ~£500 in a savings account in anticipation of the first service?

What £500?

Looks like they maybe selling their part ex vehicles instead of flogging them to a dealer in bulk or going to auction.

60 days warranty. £225 to extend for 6 months.

£194 for MOT and service plan?

Pick any one of those cars and put the same age and spec into search on Autotrader. You will save a fortune.

That's what I've been doing. That's where the £500 saving comes in.
