8 current accounts 3% or over
4 savings accounts 3% or over
I know that many people have far more, although some people have joint ones as well. Mine are just single accounts.
They are not all fully funded, but I felt worth getting them as they could reduce interest rates at anytime. Not Rachmaninov

The ones I have are regular savings accounts, I know some have reduced the interest rates since I took them out but there are still some offering 6%. The highest I have at the moment are 4% and 3.75%.

The "problem" with regular savers is they are not much use if you have a larger cash pile since you only get the interest on small amounts at first until you get to larger amounts with "worthwhile" amounts of interest.
Halifax, 2 x Santander, 2 x TSB, 2 x Tesco, 2 x Lloyds, Nationwide, all currents.0 -

Probably one of the lowest numbers here as I keep very little cash.
But have:
2x TSB
1x Nationwide
1x HalifaxRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

I've been meaning to take out on the of the high interest current accounts for saving purposes.
If I just open one initially, which would you all recommend I go for ?
Thanks0 -
Well that would depend on how much money you have to save! But if you're starting from nothing I'd suggest TSB Plus.I've been meaning to take out on the of the high interest current accounts for saving purposes.
