Automatic to manual licence - classed as a new driver?
If upgrading from an auto to a manual licence, I was wondering following a manual pass whether a driver would be classed as a 'new driver', in regard to insurance or the time a full licence was held (can't think of a better way to phrase it).
Some things require a full licence to be held for x number of years - would this be likely to be 'reset'?
Thanks

For some yes the date you passed your driving test for that type of vehicle is the start date.
Phone them and make them aware of your situation to see if they will take it into account and drop the premium.
One of those situations where the online comparison sites probably wont be best.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Thanks, shall do that when the time comes. I know some just ask about the length of time a full licence is held, but some do have auto listed separately."Kids respect landlords. I think it's the keys."0
