Is this a Special Term on insurance?

Hello,

I took out some Critical illness cover and had to pay a bit extra due to a couple of pre-existing conditions. The documentation which arrived says the following:

Special Conditions:
My Name
NONE

Acceptance Terms: Non standard rates

Does this mean I have special terms on my insurance? Do I have to mention this to all my insurance companies including car, house, pet, etc?

Thanks.

There are no special conditions, but the premium has been increased to reflect your medical history.

You would only disclose this for other life, critical illness or income protection proposals, not for short-term cover like car, home etc.

GI policies will not be interested in these sorts of things. The cross impact between Life and GI only really happens if you've had a claim declined for fraud etc
