Hello all,
Weather beautiful here, so I think that means we will have rain tomorrow.
Washing out early, popped to Mr. T for essentials, then up to DD to see her.
I had a lot of eggs to use up, so I have made 2 lemon drizzle cakes, 1 chocolate marble cake, and some mince pies. Some of these will go into the freezer.
I was quite busy yesterday, went to the Farm shop, and amongst other things bought a kilo of steak mince and made a big pot of bolognese. Had some for tea last night and the rest packaged up and in the freezer, but my goodness the kitchen was hot.
Hopefully having a quiet, lazy day tomorrow.
Hugs to anyone who would like one and a special one to Molly.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend
Much love

Afternoon all
Overcast and very muggy here today, I just want the sun to start shining again!
DH is outside cleaning the rabbits and chickens out, I've been pottering around sorting the patio pots out, I've pulled all the carrots up so we have a good few bags to go in the freezer, the carrot tops are in the dehydrator for the bunnies to munch on over winter, I was hoping to get the lawns mowed but it just far too wet to do it.
Now just going to jump in the bath, nip the farm shop for bacon & mushrooms, then to the pet shop for chicken food & shavings then I think I'll spend the rest of the afternoon cutting my material into squares ready for me to start on my patchwork quilt.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.G.C July £21.09/£1000 -
Boiling here today so I have done three loads of washing, most of it is dry now
I have been such a busy bee today I have been to the market and Wilko's this morning and in the meanwhile I have made a huge strawberry cheesecake for tonight as it is the staff barbecue and we all take something along, I usually get dessert duty.............No fair because half the time I can't have it.
Then I popped up to the cemetary to put some flowers on Mum and dad's grave. My dad would have been 96 today if he was still with us
Must get a bottle of wine in the fridge to cool in a moment.
((((((Hugs)))))) for Molly, LW, bethebee, and everyone else who is poorly or just needs a little bit of TLC

Afternoon all
We were awake at 4:30 so I made a cuppa & we managed to fall asleep again 'til 7. I took hubby to work, collected DD and took her to work. I went to the chemist to collect a prescription, took about 20 minutes, there were 4 assistants serving 3 customers & they couldn't get anything right, they muddled my surname up with my address, gave me the script for the man next to me, told the other customer off for coming in on the wrong day, said she was only allowed in on a Saturday, it is bloody Saturday, what a shambles. I came home, hung washing out, pottered about then went to collect hubby we had salad rolls for lunch, all from the garden. We then went to see his Mum & stepdad. Came home, swapped the washing over & now I best start the ironing, freeze the rhubarb & decide what to have with salad tonight.
Hugs to Molly & anyone else in need.
Have a good day everyone.

Good afternoon all
It has been a busy day today. Beds stripped, bathrooms cleaned and kitchen given the once over. I would like to say that I've done it all but my mom came by to help
I have made the pizza bases and this cake

for the brood later. They're currently at the park so it should be pizza, cake, bath and bed for them. I found the cake whilst searching for traybakes on OS. It looks lovely so will try and post pictures.
Hope everyone has had a good day so far and enjoy your evening. I can hear a glass of two of wine calling me2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000 -
On holiday now for a week :j:j
Been to m@tal@n with dd2 , how ridiculously hot it is in there, we practically came straight out it was too hot to try clothes on
Much nicer this afternoon , there is a lovely breeze which is blowing through the house , managed to get 2 loads of washing dry in no time :T and even had a little snooze in the garden
Not sure what's for dinner, dd2 is going out and dd1 has a dodgy tum. So it's just me and DH , think we can just see what's in the fridge and put something together.
666 that cake looks lovely :T0 -
Evening all.
It's been a lovely day today in SE Essex. I've done some weeding. Dh has finished painting the fence.
Not back on the OS wagon quite yet. Managed not to go to the supermarket today...went to the chip shop for dinner....oops! It was lovely though.
Got washing done and dried on the line. Will iron it later when the football is on.
Hardup Hester, that sounds like an awful pharmacy.
Right. I am going to sort our my fridge/freezer/pantry and do a food plan for this week.
Love, hugs and spoons x0
