I don't know what it is with this site anymore, I have seen 6 year olds behave better !
Elvis, let it drop. You came on specifically to have a go at Stebiz after last weeks farce. If you want to have a go at him, PM him, same with you Stebiz.
The issue I have with this site, is that there are a number of posters, who take great delight in giving legal spiegal to people who don't know what the hell they are on about. It just makes them think they are more intelligent than everyone else.
If a poster comes on here, try to look at it from your own POV. If you were in the same position, what would you do? I know for certain that most of you legal spiegals wouldn't go down the same route, you are telling them to do. The chances of the OP getting there money back from this place now, is slim. Yes they have a legal right to try and get it, but the centre cannot be arrested for it, it would have to be done via civil action. This will mean taking out small claims and then the hassle of attending, with the 50/50 chance they get all their money back, which as it is £50 here, is it worth the hassle?
IMO, OP just try and forget about it. You have seen how the place operates, they have provided part of the 'Service' and have reserved the place for you. If you don't want to go ahead with it, call it quits and as you have done, use another place.
Does Martin Lewis know what he has created here?0 -

Totally agree with this, and it seems to be happening in threads a more lately (not just between the 2 posters mentioned).rustyboy21 wrote: »If a poster comes on here, try to look at it from your own POV. Really though it's just advice isn't it, which most people (including the OP of this thread) specifically ask for. It is then up to the OP to decide which avenue to take, or not, after thinking it through.
Most people probably will take the latter route you suggested and give it up, but I can't see it being harmful to give them the full options open to them.
Just my thoughts on it

OP - have you checked the company's web site for any terms and conditions, or did they give you any paperwork when you went in? Your answer may be there. Otherwise, if it's a play centre with more than one site, it might be worth writing to their head office explaining why you wish to cancel. They probably wouldn't be happy that their staff had given such a bad impression of the company.0

I'm cooking pasta with mozzarella, grilled peppers, olives and buttered breadcrumbs with a lemon, caper, anchovy and parsley dressing at the moment if you want to pop round. I've got champagne, but no caviar as I don't like the way it pops in your mouth.
Ps - Tesco's have cherries at £1 a punnet at the moment, though they aren't the best flavoured.0
