Cost of replacing full electric meter box
Does anyone know how much it will cost to have a meter box replaced, including getting northern power grid engineer to come out and disconnect the fuse and everything? Also, once the engineer has moved the meter and fuse out, can I just drill in the new box myself or will I have to get someone else in to do it?

if you mean the plastic external housing on a recent build, I would have thought the DNO would have to do everything as it also involves fully removing the incoming supply cable and cutout to replace the box...0

I am sure you can replace a meter box without disconnecting all the supply cables.

Certain Dno's will do it for nothing0
