No claims bonus not honoured by insurer

Options
My insurer say I have not accrued a full years no claims bonus because I changed policies. Are they right?
Because I bought a new bike 5 months into a policy, they cancelled my policy with one insurer and began a policy with another.

My point is, I have been riding and insuring continuously for 3 years and 4 months so I should have 3 years no claims.

Incidentally, I now find all sorts of negative reviews about this insurer, MCE motorbike insurers, and I wish I'd known before I'd gone with them.

They are correct, to get a years NCD you need to complete the full policy term with one insurer.

You say your broker cancelled your old policy and set up a new one for you when you switched bikes and so there would be no credit for that partial year (even if you had stayed with the same insurer but you say you switched insurer too)
