Yes the fees are a serious problem. At the moment i ahvent got the time to open an internet site but when i do i probably will.

At the moment with postage costs, ebay fees, paypal fees etc. most of my profit is taken, especially as at the moment my items are selling for £2.49 a lot of that is taken in fees!

Nice idea a website though but when i get the chance i will.

As others have said, you have to be pretty lucky to find something which will sell on ebay and you can get a regular supply of cheaply. All the items ive looked at on ebay are not cheaper at wholesalers and the only way you can get them cheaper is if you buy stolen items, or buy them 2nd hand. But, then you are unlikely to be able to find a regular supply of the same items 2nd hand.

One of my friends makes his living purely from ebay and he is selling computer software. All original, above board software. But, even then, after fee`s he is making about 50p->£1 per item and so he is having to sell literally thousands of items each month in order to make a living. Not to mention hundreds of trips to his local post office.

Every now and then i stumble accross something which i can get cheap which sells well on ebay and so i have a few months of making some nice profit before my supply runs out, then its a few months of no ebay income before the next item comes along.

Most of the powersellers on ebay could be making a lot more if they were to use the power of ebay to build up a list of people who're prepared to buy online using paypal. The great power of ebay is greed, both in terms of saving money on high streets prices and the prospect of selling for profit.

If you want to read an ebook designed for this then please look up my about me page on ebay, my username is ****edited****

If you do go to purchase the book please let me know and I'll give 10% of my commission to the MSE charity pot.

***Insert my MSE Controller2 - A generous offer but as the majority would still be for you these it counts as advertising which is only allowed on the referrers forum - thanks ***
