    Speak to the NSPCC http://www.nspcc.org.uk/

They are very good and sensible.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
  • Speak to the police if you are sure, or atleast reasonably sure.

or in other words, if there's just a bruise on the leg, arm, whatever, and the child has older siblings (or any siblings) my concerns would be minimal, but perhaps a 'watch this space' moment.

but your post doesnt read like that, which means u have grounds to suspect something more sinister.
  • Further to the NSPCC and police, if the child goes to school, preschool or nursery there will be a nominated member of staff responsible for safeguarding. You could share your concerns with them, or if not but you have any links to a school you could speak to *their* safeguarding person and get advice for the child in question.
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
