Lloyds Offer Letter

Hi, I have been informed by the claims dept that my final offer letter was posted on Monday July 7th.

I have noticed that Lloyds 2nd class letters tend to take longer than Royal Mail's 3 working day target.

Has anyone got a rough idea when I should expect to receive letter / start to chase? I live in a block of flats and the post has a tendency to go astray so i am in a quandry. Thanks as always!

They dont use royal mail for despatch. Also, whilst the claims department may see that a letter was prepared on a given date, it does not mean it was actually sent out that day. So, give it a bit longer.

Got my final offer letter yesterday! Hurrah! Thanks so much for all your help and sage advice:beer:
  • I got a letter through the post saying "as per my letter to you on 7th July" (didn't get a letter) along with a cheque for £8,355.49. I've not waited for the letter and put the cheque in to clear!

Well I'd call them and tell them you have not received the FRL and request a copy. That way you can see how they arrived at the figures. Always plays to be safe. :D
