I refused an order from them yesterday that a courier tried to deliver as it had been mangled on route and the contents damaged. I gave Amazon a ring to explain and a helpful bloke there said it would be sorted. Less than 24 hours later a replacement order has arrived via parcel force.

Amazon are great. They delivered an order which, on receipt, wasn't suitable. I filled in the online form, DHL collected the item and I wasn't even charged for return delivery.

I had a similar incident recently where a book had the same pages printed twice. We got the replacement the next day, before we had sent the other one back

Another happy Amazon customer here.

Bought a Karaoke DVD player for our autistic son; it arrived damaged (not their fault, item was obviously damaged at time of packing by manufacturer). We used their 'call me now' facility on their site, (amazing it was too, clicked the call me now button and our phone rang), and a young man bent over backwards to help. Damaged player was picked up following morning and replacement arrived 24 hours later.

I've been buying from Amazon for years and have always been impressed with their CS.
