How do I find out who my car insurance is with?

I've misplaced my car insurance docs. I've just sold it and now want to insure another car. However, I can't for the life of me remember which company the insurance is with. I paid for it in full, so I can't check bank statements etc... Is there a website or something that can help me?
Thanks

Should be less than a year since you've paid it - online bank statements will still be available.0

I've lost my debit card and am awaiting a replacement - can't use the card reader to access my bank statements without it.0

Easiest way may be to pay £4 to MID...

Or call your branch tomorrow?
Have you not had anything emailed through? I have my last 3 years insurance details in my email as I never delete them.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I see where you can check for free if your vehicle is insured. But the bit where you pay £4 only seems to be available if you have been involved in an accident and want to check the other driver's insured. Is there a way on the site to check your own insurance details?

Sorted now.:T
I rang a well known insurance company who I thought might be who I had insurance with. It wasn't with them but I spoke very nicely to the woman, she had a word with her supervisor and they gave me a name of an insurance company (which I didn't recognise) and a a telephone number. I googled it and it turns out the company must be a sister company of Hastings - that's who I'm with.
Insurance transferred and documents are going to be emailed to me!
Thanks for all0 -
