Is this a good Sky deal?

So as a completely new customer just over a year ago I signed upto to 12 month sky contract with sports/movies/hd and extra room

Family with Sports & Movies was £62 -
with a Viewing Subscription Discounted of £31 so was paying £31
Then extra room £11.25
So for 12 months I paid £42.25 a month = £507

The offer has now ended and im now paying

Family with Sports & Movies was £62
Then extra room £11.25
Total of £73.25 a month = £879

£372 difference eek

So I rang up and they offered 2 deals
with everything that I currently have £65.12 (x12 = 781.44 a year)
or get rid of movies £58.00 a month (x12 = 696 a year)

Are these good deals. If im honest im not a massive TV but house mates and family/visitors have got used to it, and it can be convenient.

Has anyone had any good deals recently to give me an idea of how far I can push after being with sky for a year?

Where they really make the money of me is renting movies as I do that more than anything.

Would love to hear from anyone with advise please
(sorry for all the math, not needed I know near the end of the week. Oh and I forgot to add the £4 increase a month coming in September which is another £48 a year

Our package is £58 p.m and we have sports & HD only, no multi room or movies.
Going to ring to try and negotiate a discount for when I go on maternity leave in September! Wish me luck! xxx
