No payout on CPP Post 2005 claim

Received my (post 2005) CPP compensation claim outcome letter today and basically they are refusing to pay out.
It states... 'We have now reviewed your form and the claim has been successful. However, due to the payments you have received as a result of having the policy, we have calculated that no compensation is due under the terms of the scheme.'
The only payments I have received from CPP are my pre 2005 payout (which is greater than the 2005 payout would be so they are saying that they owe me nothing). Surely that should not stop me from getting a post 2005 payout.
I contacted the CPP redress scheme, and they are saying that that is not what CPP have put on my file (can see that I have been given compensation in 2013, but was not attributed to pre 2005 claim. They said I needed to speak to CPP, which I have done and they are investigating, but can't help but think I'm being sent between people without anyone taking any responsibility.
Has anyone else experienced this/got any advice they can offer?
Its only for a small amount of money but that really isn't the point.

If you were already refunded in 2013, you won't get a second payout unless you were refunded less than you actually paid. Are you certain your refund last year wasn't for the whole of the period you paid?
Since the CPP scheme only covers the period post 2005, it is reasonable to assume that any payment you received from them was for this time period. Pre 2005, you have to make a complaint to whoever originally sold you the insurance.0 -
I orginially contacted my bank regarding the pre 2005 claim and they gave the details of someone at CPP I had to contact regarding this matter.
CPP told me the payout was just for the pre 2005 period and I would have to go through the redress scheme for the other bit.
They sent me all the forms to sign for the redress scheme after the payout - surely they wouldn't do this if there is nothing to claim?
The refund in 2013 is less than I paid in total (only just more than I paid in post 2005).0 -

I've had a result! Not wanting to count my money before the cheque had cleared and all that, but fingers crossed, its on its way.
After spending a good portion of the afternoon on the phone, they have admitted that I am owed money under the post 2005 scheme. Said their was a technical problem with the computer system the redress scheme is using - CPP are going to pay the compensation from their direct from their office rather than through the redress scheme. All sounds a bit iffy to me but as long as I get the money, I'm not too fussed!
