Barclays Additions Premier

Hi,
I have just started a claim against Barclay's for my £25 a month Additions Premier bank account (which has been replaced) which i believe was mis-sold as I fulfilled and continue to fulfill none of the criteria for the account (£75k salary, £100k investments). I was sold it as a way of keeping the interest down on my £1500 overdraft as well as emergency home cover which was later removed. I remember it well as when I said i'd accept the account the young lady said to a colleague "Yes!!! I've sold one".
I sent the template letter to Barclay's after checking my online statements back to 2010 asking for a confirmed start date of the account which was upgraded from my previous free account. I received a call from my branch telling me that they could send me the statements but were unable to confirm the start date and that I needed to find the details.....is this normal?
Does anyone have any idea of when the Additions Premier account became available as i think i was sold it right at the beginning, potentially 2005/06???
