Hi, I have the same question but I am with Eon. I have just had a confusing conversation with someone at Eon who told me to look on www.direct.gov.uk but I am still no clearer. I receive DLA and also have my stamp paid, I think this used to be called unemployment benefit but as I was a stay at home mother when I became disabled I hadn't paid NI contributions so wasn't entitled to any more than having the stamp paid. Now I don't even know which benefit that would be called since all the names have been changed. Can anyone help? Thanks in anticipation.

I had the same problem with SP - They tried to get me to apply through DWP, Who - when asked - denied any knowledge of the scheme, then, when pushed - told me to apply through SP !!
I eventually received the £135 in about April, this year and expect similar problems next year - which is why I am investigating early this year !!
Things shouldn't be so difficult, or vary between suppliers - there should be clear rules !!0 -
I went through the link on the earlier post and Scottish Power have not yet set up the 2014/2015 applications.Typical of them!!0

So - does that include the winter of 2015/16 - ie another 2 years ?
and what is likely to happen after that ?
Sorry 50Twuncle but I can only comment on things to do with E.ON.
You'll need to ask Scottish Power about their arrangements.
As far as we're concerned, our scheme will cover the winter of 2015/16 although the actual terms may differ from the current arrangement. This is to be decided.
I've no information at the mo about what happens after this time.
