First time buyer advice on energy
Morning money savers!
I have bought a new build 2 bedroom house which is almost ready to move into.
The house will have a smart meter and water meter and thermostat etc..
The house is very highly insulated , 2 bedroom and not overly large..
There is only me living at the address.
I am wondering how much my energy bills could be per month etc .. should I use dual fuel , pay monthly etc
All advice is welcome. Thanks Eastylad.

Why don't you look at the EPC that will tell you how much your heating, water heating and lighting will cost which will make up around 70% of your energy costs.
You can find it here. https://www.epcregister.com/home.html

Impossible to say! It's often cheaper to pay via monthly DD and with a dual fuel tariff, so have a look at some comparison sites.
Start off at something like £25/month each for gas and electric and see how you go. Take your meter readings each month and if you use a decent online energy tariff you can track your usage.

Thanks for the advice , it has helped put my mind at rest.. currently she pays about 250 per year water costs .. so im guessing it maybe just £180 per year with me living on my own in my new place .. cheaper the better!!0
