Is anybody getting anywhere with these "select account" claims?
My bank have just come back to me to tell me that I am not eligible as whilst i have had the account, I have had access to preferential rate loans.
I can't see that this should make any difference, i took the loan at the rate they quoted and the compound interest has been paid.
So what's that got to do with the fees I have had to pay from 2000, when I was forced to take the account and pay a monthly subscriptions for things like, phone insurance, AA Breakdown cover, Sentinal Card Protection, travel insurance etc.
Is anyone else hitting a brick wall?

If you complain about the sale of packaged accounts, the complaints tend to fail if you have benefited from parts of the package.
...which you only got by being on that packaged account. had you been on a different account, the rates payable would have been higher.I can't see that this should make any difference, i took the loan at the rate they quoted and the compound interest has been paid.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). What was the difference in rate between what was available with and without the package loan amount - might be a question to ask?
