It literally could be anything for the refer.

It could be that there is an issue the system can not understand, it could be that you are a borderline case. The outcome could be simple in that it needs a human to tick the box, they need some clarification (ie will request extra paperwork) or is a decline.

You could be sat there not worried when you should be or worrying when you have no need to. Part of the benefit of using a broker is that you can usually get to the bottom of what the issue is and and put your mind at ease - if your broker doesnt known and has no way of finding out fair enough, if they are being vague because they cant be a...ed checking then thats a whole different matter.

Either way, its not something we can hep with as it could literally be something or nothing... I know thats not much help, but your paying a broker, they are the ones to be asking.

Surely natwest wouldn't take a full app without a DIP anyway
Its a refer, not a decline.

Your the one saying you have no DIP but your full application has gone in... :p

OK So therefore I must have a DIP then as that is the first port of call surely for an app.

    Thanks

I would expect to get an accept before submitting a full application (otherwise its potentially a waste of my time and yours). It could have referred and your broker has submitted a full application as they think it will be accepted?
