Npower : Related MPAN disconnection

Hey all,

I'm wondering if anyone else has had difficulty sorting this and how they managed it, a little bit of background though:

I have 2 mpans for my electricty supply, as I understand it its an old YEB economy 10 setup. I currently have gas at the property so theres no reason to keep this setup and I was hoping to move a standard setup with a single MPAN.

I contacted npower who sent out someone to remove the offpeak meter (leaving me the main one) and was told that should get the ball rolling. From what I can gather they sent a 132 to disconnect the offpeak meter but, this was rejected as the meter had not been de-energized, after some talking with northern electric to find out exactly what npower had to do I managed to get npower to send out a d0205 to de-energize mpan followed by a d0132 logical disconnect to flag the mpan as disconnected.

I thought this was it, job done, however after contacting npower they have told me that the main meter is still linked to the now disconnected(dead) mpan and that I have to have them unrelated. I was told that the ball had already been started and that a week or 2 and this shoudl be done.
I contacted npower a week later to be told that this it was still under process and this could now take 90 days. After some questioning it turns out that the process that was already underway was the original disconnect Id asked for (and later babysat npower through)
I rang Northern Power to find out exactly what npower have to do to unrelate the meters but, didn't really get a clear answer and while npower complaints were friendly and helpful they didnt seem to know either simply telling me I should let the 90 day thing continue. Im worried that after 90 days ill be no further along and looking at a very large deemed contract electric bill.

Does anyone know what npower have to do in order to unrelate a meter? Is it simply sending a data flow to Northern power to have the mpan unrelated?

Thanks in advance.

yes it is, however they need the removal flows first
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Good luck! This is the sort of thing the Stoke office used to deal with. There'll be much head scratching in India at the moment now that they can't do their usual "returned to onshore as unable to work"!
