Bought home insurance with Legal & General via topcashback, receiving £60.60 cashback, also used Amazon code and got £70 voucher. Home insurance cost £166, take away £60.60 and £70, paid 35.40 for building and contents insurance for a year! Pretty good!

The essentials product?
Assuming it is then its probably about the right price, its the lowest quality product on the market with only 1 star (http://defaqto.com/star-ratings/home-insurance-product-detail?ProductTypeView=StarRatingsCenter_HomeInsurance_Contents_ProductDetails_2014StarRating&Ratings=&Products=&Product=251813&Search=legal&Sort=) from a below average provider (http://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/reviews-ns/home-insurance/which-recommended-providers/)

I don't think you get cashback and any promos, if you used a code while using a cashback side you will get that, but not the cashback.0

Don't pour cold water on a new poster immediately!
Maybe she only needs a budget product. She might not get both promos but at least she's making an effort! & if she gets b&c for £35.40 that is undoubtedly cheap.
susanne - the above posters are probably correct in their (factual though blunt) comments but don't be put off posting again.
I hope you get your deal.0
