Bank Account for 3rd Year Uni Student

DS is trying to open a student bank account for his final year at uni, but is struggling as all banks he has asked only open them in year 1, expecting you to then stay with them.
Can anyone help with details on which banks do open accounts for students who are in the later uni years?
