Good afternoon everyone,I am at the point of pulling my hair out with this deferment process.i have 2 very part time jobs and earn nowhere near the threshold for repayment.i have sent employer letter, wageslips, accountant letter,p60,3 months bank statements and now a letter from my husband saying he provides for us.many phone calls and emails, always speaking to a different person and emails from a different signature.todays news was that my account had been put on hold so as not to incur any arrears.....2 hours later a phone call saying my account was in arrears and they needed to take payment.they advised me to cancel my dd so that no money was taken out, something that I have now done but I am at the end of my tether.....seriously I have nothing else to send and yet the most recent email is asking for receipts to prove I spend my husbands housekeeping money on that!!!!!!! I have rang the financial ombudsman and they cannot do anything as it is outside offhand jurisdiction....losing my temper now!!!!!imunderstand that I am not alone and that they are a debt collection agency who are showing their muscle but i can't believe their miscommunications!!!!!can anyone suggest anything more that I can do please???thank you xxxxxx

That is bullsheet! Tell them that old style student loan are covered under the FOS as they are regulated loans.
FOS need to start training their staff and stop employing dipsticks.Still rolling rolling rolling......<

Say you have done everything reasonably possible to proof you are under the threshold, now stop wasting my time and harassing me.
I am under the threshold so no money for you until I go over it.
If you want, take me to court as I have lots of evidence to say to the judge I am under the threshold.
Now go anyway and stop bothering me.0 -
[I have just checked my bank account and £79 was taken from it by this company without my knowledge, ive had no letter or communication past me sending all the paperwork asked for, i do not work and my husband supports me like yourself, where do we go for help if the ombudsman does not help like martin said it would. HELP

Mummyof2princesses, I would recommend that you complain to the FOS, your MP and Erudio in EMAIL form.
You want to list everything that has happened in a concise way so that everyone can see **exactly** what has happened.
You also want to list everything you are unhappy about in a concise way.
Erudio's complaint process is detailed here:
http://www.erudiostudentloans.co.uk/services/complaints-procedure.htm
Please note that the FOS won't actually do anything with your complaints until Erudio has had time to respond themselves, but at least they have a history of what is happening with your particular case.
I hope this helps.0 -

The FOS can help people but you have to complain to Erudio first.
I would recommend that you contact Erudio to sort out what is happening. Then make a complaint by email explaining everything.

i complained by email to erudio that night after money taken, i received no formal acknowledgement that i had done this, then today i received exactly the same letter ive had twice asking me to send the tax return evidence, this i have sent twice, once by post and once email which was acknowledged, i feel im going round in circles, i managed to get RBS to refund money back and to make sure no more is taken, but where to go from here i dont know........0
