Miracle Vanish Pens

I don't believe in miracles, but if you do get one do some before and after photos and post them for us all to see.0

All it can do is fill it with a clear varnish. Nail varish or similar would probably do the same job for less.
It will only work if you have not broken through the top coat layer though.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I wondered whether it slightly dissolved the existing paint and filled in the space with that ?0 -
I tried one, as posted, they fill the scratch with like a clear gel. This then levels the surface and the light reflects the colour making the scratch less noticeable. I wouldn't say they're brilliant though and certainly aren't a miracle.0

If you have a "light" scratch whereby the surface of the paint has whitened then this will help cover it.0 -

You should have tried using a fine sand paper and then polishing up after.
My polish neighbours did this on their old audi that was covered with scratches. It really did come up like new - and that was without the magic pen thing.
Scratches really can disappear if you know how to treat them right.0 -

By fine, you mean 3000 grit? 2000 grit?0 -
I can't remember - all I do know is that they couldn't get it here in the UK and had to hve supplies from poland for the job.
The car looked absolutely mint after and polish with an electric polisher.0 -
Ive had a go at making pens from acrylic, The sanding pads go down to 20,000 grit.
It would probably take a month to do one panel though. Pads are only small.
I wonder what grit brasso and autosol polish would be compared to those pads?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
