So, DD is at that age - she's DESPERATE to see 5SOS when they tour next year. I've checked the dates etc, and Birmingham NIA on Friday 5th June is the best venue for us. Apparently the tickets go on general release this Friday at 10am.

I've never bought concert tickets for really high-profile bands before so I need some help please.

Is the best place to buy them the NIA website?
Do I need to be online and ready to buy on or before 10am?
Do I need to register with the website etc to speed up the buying process and get the best seats?
Am I likely to have more success online or on the phone?

I have no clue - help please lovely MSE'ers :).

The NIA will link you through to TicketFactory, which is their official ticket supplier.

The good seats will start to go at 10:00am, so it's advisable. For comparison, I bought tickets for Kasabian at Leeds Arena last week - they went on sale at 9:30 and by 9:32, the entire floor standing section and most of tier one had sold out.

Usually know. Usually, you select your tickets and the system 'reserves' them for ten minutes to allow you to complete the purchase. You can usually register at the check-out phase if you really want to.

    Online.
