Hi
Can someone advise me if the energy companies were allowed to post defaults on your credit files between 2008 & 2010? If so, does anyone know which date/year they began to do it????
Thanks

Different companies started obtaining permission from new customers at different times. Generally the relevant dates will relate to when the customer opened the account (or switched to a new deal/tariff potentially) as to when permission was obtained.
British gas was one of the first to obtain permission, and they have certainly done so for longer back than the dates you mention.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
