I applied for a Barclaycard Platinum a few days ago and wasn't given an instant decision, I called today and was told a letter has been sent to me asking for supporting document! Has this happened to anyone else...what documents did they ask for and did you get accepted and with what limit?

They may want proof of income. A similar thing happened to me with Natwest.0 -
Ah, stuff I've found on the forums for Barclaycard all seem to say the want proof of address. Did natwest accept you?0

It can be either, it depends if the issue was with the KYC checks in which case itll be proof of ID and address or problems with what they found on Hunter/ CRAs in which case it'll be proof of income/ employment etc0
