Recommendations for a new kitchen?

I would like to ask for any recommendations for a good kitchen supplier/installer. We are in the process of looking for a new kitchen, but are working to a budget and are finding the whole process a little daunting and confusing. All the different kitchen companies seem to have offers on, and we need some guidance on choosing the best. I want a quality kitchen at a reasonable price, with god customer service to boot? Is this too much to ask nowadays. B&Q, Magnet, Wren, Howdens, Betta Living, Homebase..... the list is endless. Can anyone help us please before we begin the process??

  • Please, whatever you do, do NOT go for a Wren kitchen. They are an abysmal company with extremely low quality products and even worse customer service.
Search for other Wren kitchen related posts on here for examples of just how atrocious they are.

    Dear OP

You have missed one - Independents!

This is where you should get best advice, quality and value. But you will need to search it out.

    Good luck

    Howdens
Just done a Howdens kitchen by a great fitter. It's lovely but I think what makes it look brilliant is the fitter, the worktops, the sink/taps and also the freshly plastered walls etc :)

I'm going for an IKEA kitchen soon. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks if my builder gets his bum in gear. The cupboards look sturdy and the door fronts are nice. Plus it was very cheap :)
