Hi,
Recently bought a house and am planning to renovate the whole place. This involves decorating room, new carpets and built-in wardrobe. My question is do the wardrobes go first or carpet? i.e. do i carpet the whole room and then put the built-in wardrobe or other way around.
Cheers

All depends on whether you plan to keep the built in wardrobes and how long you keep the carpet.
If you build on the carpet and want to change the carpet, you would have to cut the carpet which is then in effect a waste of carpet and money
If you build first and then add carpet and then want to change the cupboards before you change the carpet then you will probably need to change the carpet at the same time to avoid a an area with no carpet
Hope that makes senseI haven't got one!0 -

Wardrobes then carpets, if the want the inside of the wardrobe carpeted too, just use an extra bit. On top of carpet would be apain when you come to change them.0
