Yu will need to email POPLA with some rebuttal of the evidence to add to your appeal.

Look at these threads as a starter to give you an idea of what we mean

If you email parking ticketappeals.org and tell them which version of the evidence pack you have they will send you a rebuttal for it.
Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.

Thanks for that. I have just emailed.
  • I got a reply but not exactly the response I was hoping for. It tells me what I should be doing but doesn't help with the way to word it. I don't want to say the wrong thing.

Good - and I just noticed your sig - hence my own username! I used to be a Tesco couponer when they used to allow me to get over £100 of shopping for a penny after coupons! I also got XBOX and a PS2 games console and games, clothes, books and wine - and loads more, too much to remember - for free, back in the day when Tesco used to give stuff away free if the price was more than on the ticket or shelf (DTD isn't a patch on that policy in most cases!). I don't like T any more since they stopped all the good policies and reduced the points voucher potential - and don't get me started on the Clubcard scheme erosion !

I should really update my signature as I really dislike Tesco and only shop there now for a really really good offer.

I don't think anything's going to match to the days of DTD when there was a £20.00 cap and my kitchen was bursting with lamb legs, cans of coke and dishwasher tablets.

On the parking ticket note, I'm glad it's a bank holiday weekend but it will be a long wait until friday to see if our appeal has been allowed. I just want to see the look on my mum's face that she can forget about it now as she's a terrible worrier and not very well, so worrying doesn't help.

POPLA are running late so it may be a week or two later.

Now I must go, as I am off to Sainsburys!

.....here I come, hijacking/joining in, op and c-m.......re: the Good Old Days of R&R chez Mr T.:D
    May I, just this once?
Increasingly shop chez w8r0s, to muse on The Day/Life, over free cappuccino.:T, proffering My Waitrose card, bien sûr.

-also monthly to emporium of Mr Lewis,J. until cake disappears![carrot cake for &, since you ask - and this atop the sad, sad loss of our dear little shortbread biccies from The Other Place.]

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2014/08/after-a-john-lewis-loyalty-card-its-free-tea-and-cake-offer-is-no-longer-guaranteed

W8r0s is haggle-responsive. I adopt/adapt the manner of the late and beloved Mr David Barbie: 'If I take ALL of those, what's the VERY BEST they can be?'

Further, promo's still work on rtc items. There is a special pleasure in being paid for bargains. W8r0s are cheaper than Mr T on some things.

Agree with every word you have written c-m and ag. But neither of you makes reference to Wombling, long overdue full Olympic status. It particularly aids one-person households.

Early whelp training was first observed with a friend, whose young learnt to Spot and Snaffle, test prevailing wind direction before scouting appropriate hedges/kerbs/corners for Receipt gold. All trolleys are inspected for discards.
Goal: to self-fund treats, even Uni at one stage, before Courses were axed.

Bonus: A Golden - when CS returns womble unmarked.
Current Sub-set: abandoned 'Save xx off your next shop' chitties.

C'est tout pour l'instant and just to swing things back on topic;), beware PE operate in some Mr T's, Surrey Quays being one I noted in London. Not in The Fens though.

    The End.

Lucky at least I understand what you say, ampersand! Had forgotten about Golden 'wombled' receipts for double the points - those were the days! :D
