Lacquer on car
Options
I had a massive seagull deposit on my car and after cleaning i have noticed that lacquer has gone from the affected patch and it is easily peal-able to a bigger area does anyone know of a good spray shop that could repair this problem in the North London area... Remember people to clean the droppings of birds quicker than i did as they can f**k you paint work up pretty quick

And always have the paintwork waxed or sealed , either product does not cost much and does not take long to apply.0 -
Mine was waxed and sealed so I thought it would be ok and left it for the rain to wash off. Big mistake as I've now got four big splodges where the lacquer has wrinkled and peeling.0

Has the car been repainted? If you keep an average car well waxed and take care of "bird lime" reasonably quickly, it's very unusual for the top coat to react this way. Have a good look at the other panels and look for pocking and lifting.0

Its been a month now and i got some spray cans mixed up to match my colour paint, after sanding back the the area and making good we had to do the whole panel to make it match the rest of the car, it looks the nuts but the man hours and cost of spray paint i would just go to a car sprayer next time0
