Said I would also be in contempt of court if I told them I couldn't rem is this true ?

Assuming we're in Scotland here, it's a total pack of lies.Je suis Charlie.0

Search the forum for Gordon and Noble and their lies. Then make your own mind up!0

I've seen some lies by PPCs and the scam 'legal' companies they use but that beats the lot. Firstly this is a civil, contractual issue - not criminal so the comparison to you killing someone in your car is ... well .... ridiculous ( and there isn't a strong enough word to explain just how much it is !!! ).
It's a pity this was a call as I doubt you recorded it ? If you had then they would be in a LOT of trouble, and this time we really are talking criminal activity.
So here's a challenge to Gordon and the not so Noble, you are liars, cheats and conmen. I make this statement as me and with no responsibility on MSE, it is entirely my statement and mine alone. So G&N, if that's not true I've libeled you so you might want to contact me so we can deal with it in court."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
another g+n recent thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5010632

Barnes & Noble strike again eh?

I wonder if Mr. Fishman will claim to have also been present during this call too?
me wrote:Why are your debt collectors telling lies when trying to collect outstanding speculative invoices (parking charge notices) from vehicle registered keepers?
Example: "Today there has been another phone call in which the "gentleman" stated that he was from Gordon & Noble and had been told by the company (I assume he was referring to UKPC) to "sue" the RK straight away. However he had said to them to give some more time for payment to be made!! He said that legislation had changed in Scotland on April 1st 2014 and now the RK will be taken to court even if the amount is less than £200. He also stated that if advice was saught from CAB or a Lawyer that they would advise to ignore the charge but they would be incorrect as legislation had changed. He said that the "Government" were putting pressure on the parking company's to collect all these unpaid charges as they ( the Government) get a percentage and that's why legislation was changed"
This is complete and utter bollox! It is LIES! There is NO registered keeper liability in Scotland for unpaid speculative invoices. Your company could be in line for serious censure for conducting such fraudulent activity!Mr._Fishman wrote:I am aware of this case and was present during the conversation. Based upon the undernoted I think that the individual has misconstrued what they were told. I cannot deal with you as I have no idea who you are , however, if you wish to ask the person to phone me, I will happily clarify the matter for them.0 -
Whether it was recorded or not, repeat that conversation in front of a Commissioner of Oaths and they could be in big trouble. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

I've got a great little app on my phone called Total Recall. After every call it asks if you want to save the recording or discard it, if I save it then as soon as I'm on wifi it uploads it to Dropbox and deletes it off the phone to save space.0
