Help re: removal of trustee

    Thanks for the advice. The policies are quite old (early 1980) and Sun life have said that the only way round this is for a court to sign on ex wife's behalf in order to remove her as a trustee. The payments would then go to the remaining trustee. I have asked them to pay direct to beneficiaries but they will not do this.

    I might take a look to see if I can make my own application to court to do this, as I am still paying of the legal costs from the divorce, and I am not confident with solicitors due to past experience.

    I believe Sun life did attempt to reclaim the money from the ex wife, but were unsuccessful. Whether they involved the police, I do not know.
