Club Lloyds £5 Fee then Waved

I am with Club Lloyds and met all the requirements last month however looking at my statement there was the £5 charged but then also returned and marked "waved" on the same day.
I cant work out why this is, if it was a mistake then thats fine. However if I didnt meet the requirements somewhere and they just waved it this one time then I would need to know what went wrong.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks

It's not a mistake, it is working as designed. Everybody gets charged the £5, and those that qualify for the waiver then get a £5 credit on the same day.0

Ahh ok, thanks.
This confused me as this didnt happen on the first month, but maybe they took that it was my first month into account. Although I did still get the full interest for that month.
Thanks for clearing this up.0 -

There was no need to start new thread. If you had taken the trouble to search the forum you would see it has been well documented and your questions would have been answered. Doh!0 -

And what harm have they done?
Perhaps people can take the trouble to not reply to threads with sarcastic comments, if they can be bothered.

Hi ajo,
When a customer opens their Club Lloyds account part way through a calendar month, we don't charge a fee until the end of the following calendar month.
On the fee itself, just to confirm what Archi Bald's said, it'll still be debited if you qualify for the waiver. The money will then be refunded to your account on the same day (before midnight).
Thanks,

There is no need to hijack somebody else's thread with sarcastic remarks. This thread attracted my attention whereas others hadn't.0
