4 lintels..price?

curious if anyone knows how much it would cost to replace 4 lintels above 4 windows in my house? i am having the windows replaced and was told there is either no lintels there now or it has failed....

based in the midlands...

We got charged £40 (he was doing other work for us too) to replace a small concrete lintel over a window. But it depends on the size and type of lintel.

Concrete lintel, they don't cost a lot:

But it very much depends on size as well.

After the lintels, only other material really is mortar. That doesn't cost a lot either. So materials are £50-£300 depending on type and size.

It is then a question of how much time it takes to do the work. That depends on your windows and how much making good will be required etc. But I would be surprised if it was more than a day or 2's work.

Get 3 quotes and ask for their advice on each quote. See what they all say and see where their prices end up.
